Helping my buddy trying to figure what is the reason for one of his headlights is dim on L/beam and when switched to H/beam the opposite light is dull. The H/beam indicator is on regardless of which position the dimmer is in. There is always power to outside pin of the connector so I'm thinking that the dimmer switch grounds the lights? Also when we disconnect the two plugs at the lights the H/beam indicator does not light up when in L/beam position. Any help is appreciated.
There are two bulbs used a 9004 and 9007 and each is wired differently. Neither bulb wiring has constant power to the outside pin. I have looked on line and found US diagrams but am told Canadian trucks are wired differently, Anyone have a Canadian diagram?

Forgot to give a resolve to this.
Someone changed one bulb and put the wrong bulb which caused the issue. Now that both bulbs are correct all is good.
