So how many people played hooky this week?
5 of us met at my place yesterday morning and cruised to St Alberts Cheese factory for lunch. OMG what a way to end summer cruising by driving along the country roads and then having fresh fresh fresh cheese curds in your poutine!!!! We then headed down to 43, then to 31, then south to Hwy 2 to cruise along the seaway, where we hooked up with Sniper.... We cruised Hwy 2 all the way to Brockville ( I have never went on that stretch of 2 before).
After putting sufficient miles on the rides, we headed north through Smiths Falls and back home.. What a freakin awesome day for driving that was....
Some of us might head west on Sunday and either end up in Westport for lunch or the Gourmet in Carleton Place for a early dinner... This might be the last weekend to do so as the following days keep dropping a few degrees every day...
Anyone else get some cruising in this week??
Interesting side note: Our convoy was 2 Camaros, 2 Chevelles, and 2 Challengers. 2 Corvettes would have made it a perfect "C" car cruise!

We went out again Sunday. This time we went west...er south.....er north.....We really couldn't decide...
Started out at Pumpkin Patch Hollow with Mersey in tow, then to Stittsville, missed our connection, then met plumcrazier and 3 more cars in Richmond, then off to Perth via Franktown and good ol #10 Once in Perth most folks checked out the ol antique store, then Mersey headed to Smiths Falls, while the rest of us headed up 511 to Calibogie (Did you know the gas station there has no gas!!!) Then we headed to Pakinham, then over to Fitzroy, then through Carp, and back to Stittsville again.....All that driving and I only burnt $60 in high test.....nice day and nice drive!!!
I think there is still time for another cruise....this time it might just be to Merrickville, check out the locks without a crowd for some photo ops and then Kemptville for lunch...

Great loop on Sunday for the BBN....... Stittsville, Smiths Falls, Carleton Place (with a stop at the Cheese Store to pick up some AWESOME {imported from NS} Chris Brother's HOT Pepperoni) and then back to Orleans bypassing no less than 2 multi-vehicle accidents on the way home. Hopefully this weekend's weather will cooperate for another run.....

Supposed to rain but next week looking great...sunny and 10-12 degrees. As long as the salt trucks don't show up we might be able to keep the rides out till the 3rd or 4th week of this month hopefully.
